JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – A small plane with landing gear problems Thursday afternoon caused a flurry of activity at the Jonesboro Airport.
Emergency dispatch received a call about a plane coming in to land with a possible landing gear issue.
Director Jeff Presley of Emergency 911 Dispatch said several fire trucks and EMS units were ready to respond.
Apparently the indicators inside the cockpit were the issue.
The pilot had a visual of the landing gear out, even though the indicators showed they weren’t.
The plane, with two people on board, landed safely with no injuries.
