LUXORA, AR (KAIT) - Three Mississippi County men face aggravated assault charges after a Thanksgiving dinner ended in gunfire.
The alleged shooting happened around 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, at a home on South Central Street, according to a report from the Luxora Police Department.
Maurice Gene Dority, 43, of Blytheville and Robert Lee Jones, Jr., 24, of Osceola reportedly got into an argument that turned physical during a Thanksgiving family dinner.
After a witness broke up the altercation, the report stated, Jones left the scene but said he would be back with a gun.
A short time later, police said Jones and his brother, 21-year-old Kahlil Jones of Osecola, returned to the home and shots were exchanged between the brothers and Dority.
