WYNNE, AR (KAIT) -The kids at Wynne Intermediate school have been working on a documentary for a year.
They’ve put in long hours, staying after school and even coming in during the summer to work on the project.
The East teachers and students decided to look at the Addison Shoe Company as the feature to their documentary.
The Company has been in Wynne since 1958 and has employed hundreds of residents in Wynne and Region 8.
Students got to tour the factory, interview employees, shoot photography and edit their own video.
The kids in the East program said they learned several skills that will stick with them for the rest of their lives.

Wynne student Camille Crawford said she took away alot from this project.
“Work hard and be respectful," Crawford said. "Be a good camera person and just have fun with Mrs. Mack or whoever is there in the future.”
The year long documentary was submitted to the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. and is up for show on their website.
