Bridal shop robbed, JPD searching for suspect

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police are searching for a man who robbed a local bridal shop.

Around 8:30 p.m. Monday a man walked into David’s Bridal, 3009 E. Highland, pointed a handgun at an employee, and demanded the cash drawer from the register.

According to a news release from Cpl. David McDaniel, public information officer with the Jonesboro Police Department, the suspect withdrew a “small amount of money” from the drawer then ran out of the store.

He was last seen running eastbound.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s, wearing a black hoodie, dark green camouflage pants, and a black plastic skull mask.
