JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Teachers and speech therapists who need continuing education for their jobs now have a more convenient way of accessing that.
Miracle Kids in Jonesboro has been offering training sessions to its staff members for years.
But, just recently, they’ve opened that opportunity up to the public.
For training sessions, you would normally have to travel to central and northwest Arkansas, or even out of state, to receive, you can now get them right here in Jonesboro.
“One of our owners actually goes to some of these trainings out of state to get a better idea of what they offer and if it would benefit our staff and community, and says, hey, I think we should do this training or bring it to northeast Arkansas,” said Jessie Tyer, early childhood development specialist.
Their next training session will be held in April.
Miracle Kids will host the STAR Program which focuses on autism.
