BEIJING, CHINA (KAIT/NBC News) - Customers of Beijing, China’s first “anger room” can now take out their frustrations and have a smashing good time.
The best part is no one gets hurt.
A former Chinese public relations specialist and her friends opened the "anger room" four months ago.
Customers are now smashing 15-thousand bottles a month.
Some American cities have “anger rooms”, also known as wrecking clubs or rage cages.
In the Chinese capital, "Smash" is exceeding the founder's expectations.
The shop has close links with various second-hand shops to make sure there is an endless supply of broken objects.
The things customers can smash include TV’s, telephones, clocks, rice cookers, sound recorders, mannequins, and speakers.
Customers suit up in protective gear, then take baseball bats or other blunt instruments in hand and get their negative energy out.
