BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - A new program at an area school will provide students with key skills they can use for the rest of their lives.
According to a post on the Blytheville Elementary School’s Facebook page, the school is implementing a program called “Boys II Men.”
“Our very own Coach Sharpe and Mr. Hobbs have decided to implement a mentoring program on our BES campus. The program will be called Boys II Men and will focus on building respect as well as social and life skills,” the post noted. “The boys are going to have special dress up days where they will wear a nice shirt and bow tie. The boys will also be learning to tie a traditional tie.”
The program is also seeking donations to buy the bow ties and traditional ties for the students.
