Two Mississippi County residents face drugs and weapons charges
Mississippi County Sheriff's Office arrest two people who now face multiple charges

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -Two people face drug and weapons charges in Mississippi County.

A press release from the Mississippi County Sheriff’s office said a search warrant was executed on Jan. 11 on the 400 block of Summit Street in Blytheville.

31-year-old Lyonel Smith and 25-year-old Jessica Osten were arrested after officers discovered methamphetamine, two handguns, digital scales, plastic baggies, marijuana and a stolen vehicle.

Three children were in the home at the time of the search.

Smith now faces simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of methamphetamine with the purpose to deliver, possession of marijuana, theft by receiving and three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.

Osten is being held on charges for simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of methamphetamine with the purpose to deliver, possession of marijuana and three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
