WYNNE, AR (KAIT) - An investigation into the claim of a sexual assault that took place in 2017 of a 5-year-old led to the arrest of a man in Cross County.
According to a news release from Wynne police, the sexual assault report was filed on Jan. 8, 2019.
The victim described and later identified Brady Castle as the suspect, according to Wynne police.
Information obtained through an investigation by Wynne police, Arkansas State Police, and the Children’s Advocacy Center of Eastern Arkansas, the deputy prosecuting attorney charged Castle with rape.
Castle was arrested and taken to the Cross County jail to await his first appearance in court.
His bond was set at $100,000.
The release said he would have to wear an ankle monitor before he could be released for jail.
He is also not allowed to have contact with the victim, the victim’s family, and all juveniles less than 18-years-old that are not in his immediate family.
