MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Another lawsuit was filed on Wednesday, January 23 in connection with the Marshall County High School shooting.
This suit was filed by the parents of Preston Cope, who was one of two students killed in the shooting.
The suit alleged the suspect, Gabriel Parker, made references to the “kids he might hurt” several months before the shooting happened.
In addition to Parker, the suit named his mother and stepfather and claimed the loaded gun used belonged to them and was left easily accessible to Parker.
A suit filed on Monday named the school district, various school leaders, Parker, his mother and stepfather.
Wednesday also marked the one year anniversary of the deadly shooting.
