LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT/KARK) - Patients approved to buy medical marijuana in Arkansas have started receiving their Arkansas Medical Marijuana Registry ID cards.
According to Little Rock NBC affiliate KARK, the Arkansas Department of Health started releasing the card on Monday.
A letter KARK obtained said the card will go into effect Feb. 15.
The ADH said patients need to protect their ID card.
If it is misplaced, there could be a delay receiving a replacement, officials say.
ADH said replacements will be processed after all new applicants have been issued cards.
