HENDERSONVILLE, TN (KAIT/WKRN) - If you’re interested in Johnny Cash’s property on Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, Tennessee, it could be yours for a pretty penny.
As Nashville television station WKRN reports, Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash lived on the property for over three decades.
The land is 4.5 acres surrounded by stone and railroad tie fencing and features more than 1,000 feet of lakefront storage.
“You can’t put a price on that history so I’m having to put a price on the land itself," said Stan Peacock of Crye-Leike Realtors.
The place is currently listed for $3.9 million.
The property includes a swimming pool, boat dock, tennis court, guard house, garage, and an apartment, formerly a cabin that June used for her wardrobe.
Even today, the Cash’s son’s name is still carved into the stairs and Johnny’s face is carved into a tree.
