Downtown restaurant announces closing
The Parsonage 322 announced on Facebook that will close its downtown Jonesboro restaurant.

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A downtown restaurant is moving out.

The Parsonage 322, 322 S. Main, posted on social media Wednesday morning that it would be packing up and leaving.

The owners stated that they received a text Saturday from their landlord giving them 30 days to vacate.

According to the post, Kent Arnold told them he “has a restaurant that is willing to pay more rent.”

No word yet on if the owner plans to relocate to another location.

The restaurant has been a fixture of downtown Jonesboro for several years and has been active in several events and local charities.

During the recent partial government shutdown, the restaurant served federal employees affected by the furlough free soup.

Region 8 News has reached out to Kent Arnold for a statement, but have not yet heard from him.

If there is one thing you know about the Parsonage besides the AMAZING Food and comfortable atmosphere, it is the fact...
