2 armed, dangerous sought after shooting in Poplar Bluff

Poplar Bluff shooting suspects identified

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) - Poplar Bluff Police Department are looking for two people of interest in connection to a shooting investigation that happened on Saturday, Feb. 16.

Police are trying to find Michael Fry and Michael Melvin for questioning regarding a shooting investigation. The subjects should be considered armed and dangerous.

According to Detective Corey Mitchell with the Poplar Bluff Police Department, the shooting happened at 3:40 p.m. on Highway 53, east of US 67.

The suspects fired from a vehicle into another, hitting one person in the arm. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

According to police, there were two additional people in the vehicle with the suspects but they have been eliminated as suspects.

No motive is known at this time.
