BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -A car plummeted into a sinkhole in Blytheville Tuesday evening.

According to Police Chief Ross Thompson, it happened at Lockhard and Hollywood Streets.

No injuries were reported and crews placed barricades around the sinkhole to prevent further crashes.

Police advise residents traveling in the area to use extreme caution, but Hollywood Street will remain open to traffic.
