LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT/KATV) - Dozens gathered at the state Capitol on Monday to rally against prosecuting attorney’s decision in a fatal officer-involved shooting.

Pulaski County prosecuting attorney Larry Jegley decided that Little Rock officer Charles Starks was justified in the shooting and killing of Bradley Blackshire on Feb. 22.

“The Little Rock Police Department and the city of Little Rock failed to protect Bradley and continue to fail to protect our people,” Rizelle Aaron, President of the Arkansas State NAACP, told television station KATV.

Speakers advocated for federal prosecution against Starks.

Police did not interfere with the demonstration.
