JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A man and woman are both facing drug charges after police went to a Jonesboro home in reference to the smell of marijuana.
According to a probable cause affidavit, on April 19, investigators responded to the 1400-block of Oakhurst Street.
The resident, Antonio Gholson, had been previously arrested for a drug charge.
Upon arrival, the officer saw Hailey Herron run into the home, close the door, and the investigators heard things being knocked over inside.
A search of the home found a white grocery bag in the back of the toilet floating in water.
Inside the sack was 24 grams of suspected marijuana and 0.5 grams of suspected cocaine.
An investigator also found a pill bottle inside Herron’s bedroom that contained three Diazepam pills and three Alprazolam pills, along with a marijuana bong.
Herron is charged with possession of a schedule VI with purpose to deliver, possession of meth or cocaine less than 2 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia (both a felony and misdemeanor charge), tampering with physical evidence, and possession of schedule IV or V less than 28 grams.
Gholson is charged with possession of a schedule VI with purpose to deliver, possession of meth or cocaine less than 2 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence.
Both of them are set to appear in court on May 31.
They are currently out on temporary bonds.
