First pitch for Arkansas State/Appalachian State series opener moved to 4pm Friday

Press Release from Arkansas State Athletics

The threat of inclement weather on Saturday, as well as Sunday’s travel time for visiting Appalachian State, has forced the Arkansas State baseball team to alter game start times for its home series this weekend at Tomlinson Stadium.

Today’s game against the Mountaineers will remain the same with the first pitch set for 4:00 p.m., but Saturday’s game has been moved from 4:00 p.m. to a new 6:00 p.m. start time. Sunday’s series finale was originally scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m., but has now been moved to noon in order to allow for necessary time to complete the game before Appalachian State’s return trip to Boone, N.C.
