A fire broke out during the lunch hour Feb. 22 in Shreveport. The fire on Weinstock Street was reported at 12:20 p.m., Caddo 911 dispatch records show. At one point, Shreveport Fire Department had a dozen units on the scene between Norma Avenue and Elder Street.

BATESVILLE, AR (KAIT) - On Thursday afternoon, the Batesville Fire Department responded to a fire at Batesville Self Storage.

According to a post by the Batesville Fire Department, there were reports of smoke billowing from multiple units.

The post adds that, with multiple storage units involved that all had locks and even multiple locks, it provided firefighters with a rare challenge.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire without any injuries.
