WHITE HALL, Ark. (KAIT/KARK) - A pharmacy is sending a cease-and-desist letter to a medical marijuana dispensary over its name.

Little Rock television station KARK reports that Doctor’s Orders Pharmacy, a pharmacy chain in Jefferson County, has had confused callers.

“The confusion is absolutely there because of the similarity of the names and the logos,” Lelan Stice, owner of Doctor’s Orders Pharmacy, told KARK. “Even the colors are the same.”

Stice and his attorney sent a cease and desist letter to the Doctor’s Orders RX dispensary, asking the owners to change its name.

A spokesperson for Doctor’s Orders RX did not comment on the situation.
