Missing Kennett, Mo. man found, asked people inside a restaurant for help

KENNETT, MO (KFVS) - A missing man in Kennett, Missouri was found on Thursday, May 16.

Police in Kennett said Kerry Wayne Thomas was sighted walking on West First St. near Wendy’s.

Around 9:30 a.m. he walked into a Hardee’s restaurant and asked people inside for help.

According to police, emergency crews are currently checking on him.

The Kennett Police Department issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for a missing 66-year-old man.

He was last seen on South Everett around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14. Police say he left his home to go for a walk and didn’t return. He still has not been found as of Wedneday evening, May 15.

Thomas has Dementia, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The sheriff said Thomas also has Diabetes.

Thomas is on several medications and does not have them with him.
