JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Runners got ready for Hytrol’s 5th Annual Industrial Park 5K on Saturday morning to support a local center.
The money raised goes to benefit the Jonesboro Church Health Center.
Hytrol Health Coordinator Lauren Ryan said the company enjoys what the 5K stands for.
“It’s just a really good chance to let Hytrol do something in the community,” Ryan said. “It gets people in to see what we do.”
Over 50 people registered for the 5K and the runners received special medals.
The medals were made at the Hytrol factory by the employees.
Ryan said she enjoys the event each year.
“It’s just a really fun time,” Ryan said. “We get to have a lot of our employees come out and run, the community, too. It’s a good time to get people here and show people how the Hytrol family works.”
A total of $1,400 was raised at Saturday’s event.
