LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) - On Monday, Governor Hutchinson signed a bill to create the National Day of the Cowboy.
Little Rock television station KARK reports that the world’s number two bull riders and leaders of the professional organization joined Hutchinson today.
The governor mentioned the economic benefits that rodeos have brought to the state, which is about $22 million per year.
The National Day of the Cowboy will be celebrated at the end of July.
