JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - St. Bernards held a neighborhood health screening Tuesday May 21 at Allen Park Community Center.
The screening was free and included testing for anemia, blood pressure, BMI, glucose, height, total cholesterol and weight.
There were additional lab tests that included lipid panels and a test for Hemoglobin A1C.
Health Educator Coordinator for St. Bernards Tammy Dunigan hopes events like these will save lives.
“Everyone needs to get out and come to these screenings and take advantage, so they can know their numbers and then work on them, then you know exercise, or eat different and improve on the numbers, so that’s our goal,” said Dunigan.
