A-State alum Justin McInnis finally hits the field for the Saskatchewan Roughriders

Regina, Saskatchewan (KAIT) - A former Red Wolf practiced Monday for the first time as a professional. Justin McInnis practiced with the Saskatchewan Roughriders after missing the first two weeks of training camp with a hamstring injury.

He was selected with the 6th overall pick in May’s CFL Draft.

McInnis met the media in Regina along with Roughriders head coach Craig Dickenson.

Saskatchewan plays their final preseason game Thursday vs. the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The season opener is Thursday, June 13th at Hamilton. McInnis is the 3rd A-State alum on a CFL roster.
