CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) - At least 1,600 Entergy Arkansas customers in Craighead County have been without power Saturday, according to a post on the utility company’s website.
The post noted that the outage, which started around 10:40 a.m. June 8, was due to equipment on a utility pole being broken.
Officials said in a Twitter post that they believe the outage was due to a failed mobile transformer.
Crews are at the scene working to make repairs, officials said, noting they expect power to be restored Sunday morning, June 9.
