Walmart raising tobacco sales age to 21
Walmart is raising the minimum age for tobacco sales.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KAIT/KNWA) - Walmart will change its minimum age for tobacco sales in September.

Fayetteville television station KNWA reports that the company will no longer sell tobacco products to anyone younger than 21.

The change will be in effect on Sept. 1.

On July 1, Walmart quit selling tobacco products to minors and also stopped selling fruit and dessert-flavored nicotine e-cigarette products.
