Austin Cook & Andrew Landry in contention early at John Deere Classic

SILVIS, Ill. (KAIT) - A couple former Razorbacks are looking to get back to winning ways on the PGA Tour.

Jonesboro’s own Austin Cook fired a 5-under 66 Thursday in the opening round of the John Deere Classic. The highlight was an eagle on the par 4 5th hole. Cook also had 7 birdies, he’s currently tied for 4th.

Andrew Landry is also in the mix early. He posted a bogey free 65 Thursday morning. Landry is at -6 and tied for 2nd.
