Jonesboro police investigating armed robbery at Dollar General

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Jonesboro police are investigating an armed robbery Friday evening at the Dollar General in the 1600 block of North Church Street.

The call came in around 10 p.m. as the Dollar General was closing.

Witnesses told police that an armed, black male broke the glass out on the front sliding door and entered the store at closing time.

Surveillance video shows the suspect was wearing all black and a white, smooth mask.

Police say the suspect pulled a hand gun and left the building on foot, traveling east behind the building with an undisclosed amount of cash.
