MCRAE, Ark. (KAIT) - A central Arkansas man was killed crossing a highway, according to a fatal crash report from Arkansas State Police.

Alex Hayes, Jr., 62, of McRae, died after attempting to cross state highway 367 in White County just after 6:00 am August 19.

According to the ASP crash report, an unknown driver was headed north on Highway 367 when the accident happened.

The weather was dry, but there was fog at the time of the crash.
