JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Golden Corral announced Monday they've opened for business and in doing so, created 160 new jobs in the Jonesboro area.

The new restaurant is located at 2405 E. Highland Dr.

According to a press release, the nearly 9,000 square-foot restaurant will seat more than 280 customers and includes an event space.

“We’re proud to call the vibrant city of Jonesboro home and we’re excited to have the opportunity to elevate the dining experience for both our loyal customers and a new generation of guests with this Gateway restaurant,” Kathryn Echols, franchise owner of the Jonesboro restaurant, said.

The restaurant will offer lunch, dinner, weekend breakfast, kids pricing, and the popular senior early bird special.

That senior discount will run Monday-Friday from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. for adults ages 60 or older.
