BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (KAIT) - Blytheville police are asking for the public’s help after a man was found shot to death inside a vehicle Saturday.

According to a media release from Blytheville Police Department Capt. John Frazier, officers went to the 1400 block of East Rose Street March 21 about an unresponsive person in a vehicle on the side of the road.

Officers found Ryan Wright, 30, of Blytheville dead inside the vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound, Frazier said.

“The evidence in this case suggests that Mr. Wright knew, or was at least familiar with the shooter and this is not a random act against him,” Frazier said. “This case is being investigated as a homicide and detectives are trying to learn Mr. Wright’s whereabouts leading up to this incident.”

Anyone with information on the homicide can call Blytheville police at 870-763-4411 or Blytheville CrimeStoppers at 844-910-STOP.
