Paragould mayor to retire at the end of the year

PARAGOULD, Ark. (KAIT) -Paragould Mayor Mike Gaskill plans to retire from his post after more than 20 years.
City Clerk Andrea Williams confirmed Mayor Gaskill announced his retirement during Monday night's city council meeting.
Voters first elected him in November 1997 as mayor.
His retirement goes into effect Dec. 31.
