ADH: 990 new cases of COVID-19, Gov. says “that’s too high”

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) - Gov. Asa Hutchinson and Dr. Jose Romero, Interim Secretary of Health, updated the public Friday on the state’s response to the coronavirus, including the latest cases of COVID-19 and deaths.

Gov. Hutchinson reports the latest COVID-19 numbers in the state.

Dr. Romero reports additional COVID-19 numbers.

Late on Friday, the Arkansas Department of Health said two of the eight additional deaths reported statewide were in Crittenden and Greene counties.

No further details were released from state officials on the deaths.

However, Greene County Judge Rusty McMillon released details Friday afternoon.
