LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) - Gov. Asa Hutchinson, the Arkansas Department of Health, along with other state officials, updated the public on the state’s response to COVID-19, including the latest number of cases and deaths

The state of Arkansas is receiving a $21 million grant for education and treatment for Opioids.

Gov. Hutchinson reports 368 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Dr. Jose Romero provided other COVID-19 information.

Education Secretary Dr. Johnny Key announced the Cross County School District has moved to virtual instruction for the High School.

Gov. Hutchinson was asked about a lawsuit filed by lawmakers to end the emergency declaration.
