We’ll head into the last official weekend of summer with comfortable conditions across Region 8.

In fact, temperatures are set to run 5-10°F cooler than the September average for several more days.

It’ll almost feel chilly with lows falling into the low 50s this weekend.

In terms of rainfall, Jonesboro has been dry for 13 straight days and that trend continues for Football Friday Night.

There’s virtually no threat of rainfall for the area in the near future.

A Region 8 high school football team is tackling the challenges posed by COVID-19. Meanwhile, more schools are closed today as the coronavirus continues to take its toll on students and staff.
