Steve Hauser to become Arkansas State special teams coordinator

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Butch Jones continues to assemble his Arkansas State coaching staff.

The Athletic was first to report that Steve Hauser will be the Red Wolves special teams coordinator. Hauser spent the last 3 seasons at Iowa State as a quality control assistant for special teams. The Cyclones capped their 2020 campaign with an appearance in the Big 12 Championship Game and a win in the Fiesta Bowl. Hauser made the move official Tuesday afternoon.

Hauser has P5 & NFL experience. He had 2 stints with Oklahoma State before going to Ames. Hauser did Quality Control in 2013, and was a Graduate Assistant in 2016 and 2017.

The Rhode Island native worked with the Cleveland Browns for 2 seasons. He was a scouting assistant in 2014 and 2015.
