JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KFVS) - The Missouri House of Representatives passed a bill on Monday, March 8 that would allow guns on buses and public transportation.

House Bill 52 passed the House 124-32. It moves on to the Senate.

Sponsored by Adam Schnelting, the bill would allow a concealed carry permit holder to lawfully carry guns on public transportation. Anyone with a permit may also carry a gun while traveling by us.

The bill does not apply to Amtrak.
