Fundraiser in honor of Betty White meets goal

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - A Region 8 photography business has met its fundraising goal on what would have been Betty White’s 100th birthday.

Melissa Donner Photography held a fundraiser on Monday, Jan. 17 in honor of the late actress, with the hopes of reaching a goal of 100 bags of pet food.

According to the business’s Facebook page, the goal was met, with 115 bags being donated to their studio. The fundraiser lasted until 7 p.m.

All the bags will be donated to the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society.
