Man charged with first-degree battery in Jonesboro shooting
JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Police arrested a man Tuesday after they say he shot another man at a local gas station.
The shooting happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. May 24 at at the Exxon located at 3109 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.
Public Information Specialist Sally Smith said the shooting happened during an argument in the truck parking lot.
The victim was flown to a Memphis hospital with serious injuries. They are in “stable condition” according to police.

Officers arrested the suspect, later identified by Smith as 45-year-old Emmanuel Moore of El Dorado.
In a probable cause affidavit, Moore admitted to officers to purposefully shooting the victim multiple times.
A judge charged Moore with first-degree battery and set him with a $100,000 bond.
He is expected to be back in court on July 29.
