FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KAIT) - More prospects are heading to The Hill.

Ashdown tight end Shamar Easter signed with Arkansas on Wednesday morning. February 1st marks the start of the 2nd signing period for college football. The four-star prospect had offers from 4 other SEC schools along with ACC and Big Ten interest. Baylor cornerback Lorando Johnson and Mizzou defensive lineman Trajan Jeffcoat also signed with the Razorbacks.

Arkansas football added players from all over the country in the December Signing Period. It included in-state signees JaColby Criswell (Morrilton - North Carolina), Joey Su’a (Bentonville), and Quincy Rhodes (North Little Rock).

South Florida linebacker Antonio Grier signed with the Razorbacks as a grad transfer. He played in just 3 games in this season before suffering a hand injury. Before that setback, Grier was a two-time All-AAC selection. The Georgia native led the Bulls in tackles in 2020 and 2021.
