Brooke Buckner joined the Heartland News Team as a multimedia journalist in May 2020.

She was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas and moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas to attend Arkansas State University.

At Arkansas State, Brooke worked as a writer for the Delta Digital News Service and was a reporter for ASU-TV News.

Brooke’s passion for the news business comes from her father, who has worked as a TV Meteorologist her entire life. She considers news stations her second home.

In her free time, she likes to play tennis and learn new songs on the guitar.
