Erin Morgan

Anchor/MMJ

Memphis, TN

Erin Morgan co-anchors the weekend morning news and reports several weekday mornings at WMC Action News 5.

She came to Memphis from Panama City Beach, Florida where she was a reporter, anchor, producer and even filled in on weather. While in Panama City Beach, Erin covered extreme situations including Hurricane Michael, a category 5 storm that devastated the Florida Panhandle.

As a UT-Knoxville graduate, she is thrilled to be back in the Volunteer State. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in journalism and electronic media.

While in college, she reported for the campus TV station, UT TODAY, and worked part-time as a visual journalist at the NBC affiliate in Knoxville, WBIR.

Erin is originally from Virginia, but her heart belongs in the south and with those who love the Tennessee Volunteers.

When she’s not reporting, you can find Erin catching up on her favorite reality TV shows or doing something outdoors.

Erin loves being involved with the community and telling their stories so that everyone’s voice can be heard.

If you have a story idea or restaurants and places to check out, she’d love to hear from you!

Watch Erin on WMC Action News 5 weekdays from 5 to 7 a.m. and behind the anchor desk on weekend mornings.
