Liam Garrity shoots, writes, and edits stories for the evening shows of KY3 News.
Liam graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, where he studied Broadcast Journalism with an emphasis on news and sports Reporting. Liam also graduated with two minors, one in Political Science and the other in Sociology.
Liam previously worked as a reporter for KOMU 8, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri. During his time there he covered varying topics from Missouri’s real estate market to local business and sports. He enjoys covering all different kinds of stories
When he isn’t reporting Liam enjoys keeping up with all different types of sports. He is an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Cubs, Manchester United soccer club, Formula 1 racing, and many other Chicago sports teams. In his free time, Liam plays a lot of golf and tennis, while also spending time with friends and family.
