NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee emergency officials say they have confirmed another death related to the floods that inundated the state last weekend. The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency says the death was in Tipton County in West Tennessee, raising the toll related to flooding to 20.

Another person was killed by a tornado in the state. The agency announced the death Saturday in a status update on its website. No other details were immediately available. A call to the Tipton County Emergency Management Agency was not immediately returned Saturday morning.

Some of the worst damage was in Nashville, where thousands were left homeless. Mayor Karl Dean has estimated the damage there to be at least $1.5 billion.
