Woman found dead in Arkansas trash bin identified

LITTLE ROCK, AR (AP) - Authorities have identified the body of a woman who was found dead in a trash bin in Little Rock over the weekend.

The Pulaski County Coroner says the woman is 28-year-old Sherita Allen. Coroner Garland Camper declined to release the cause of death.

Neighbors called police about 8 p.m. Saturday after finding the body in a city-issued trash bin. The neighbors said the bin had been sitting at the curb for two days, a block away from the nearest driveway.

Police spokesman Lt. Terry Hastings says he wasn't prepared to release the names of suspects.
