LITTLE ROCK, AR - A group upset at recent decisions by the state Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and some legislative decisions is planning a rally at the state Capitol Tuesday morning.

Representatives from Craighead County and other groups from the state's 43 dry counties are to be at the rally, which is set for 11 a.m. on the steps of the state capitol.

According to a news release, a news conference will be held to "address growing concerns about recent decisions and interpretations by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and recent legislative action having to do with the private club law and how that affects Arkansas residents in both dry and wet counties.  This came to a head with recent ABC Board decisions in DeQueen, Batesville and Jonesboro."

The ABC recently granted private club liquor permits to Pierro's Downtown Bistro in Jonesboro, and Josie's at the Lockhouse in Batesville.
