JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A Region 8 teen went on a surprise shopping spree on Thursday thanks to Make-A-Wish Mid-South.

The team surprised Roslyn McGill at Nettleton Performing Arts Center in front of her cheering classmates. Roslyn was then escorted outside, where a limo was waiting to take her to the mall in style.

Her mom, sisters and niece were there to help her shop for the item at the top of her list: an iPhone 6 plus.

"Oh it was fun," Roslyn's mom Debbie McGill said. "I knew she'd be excited. She's been talking about it for a couple weeks now, 'Have they called today? Have they called today?'"

Roslyn battled a type of leukemia, but the good news is that her treatment is over and her family said she's doing great.
