LITTLE ROCK, AR - Former Congressman Asa Hutchinson, who has expressed an interest in the 2006 governor's race, says he plans to move to Little Rock next month.  Hutchinson says he'll make the move after stepping down as undersecretary of the federal Department of Homeland Security.

Hutchinson represented the Third District in northwest Arkansas when he was a congressman.  He has not announced for governor, but he has not ruled it out as a possibility.

Hutchinson says he intends to move to the state's capital city with his wife Susan and open an office there as a security strategy consultant.  He said he chose Little Rock because of its central location and its proximity to his sons, John Paul, who lives in Pine Bluff, and Seth, who lives in Conway.

He said his last day on the federal job is Monday.
