JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - One person died in a plane crash in Cross County Monday afternoon.
According to Cross County Sheriff J.R. Smith, the crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on County Road 132.
Sheriff Smith said Michael Burnette, 61, of Hickory Ridge was killed.
Smith said the pilot hit a power line before coming down.
The sheriff's department said the Federal Aviation Administration will conduct an investigation.
